Hard-surface 3D render of a BMW E30 M3 with a custom widebody kit, modelled and rendered in Blender over three months as a side project. Probably my favorite car, so going widebody was only a matter of time.

This was one of my first serious ventures into 3D, and it really tested my patience over about three months, working on it as a side project. The two biggest hurdles were nailing the topology for the widebody kit and then getting the overall scene to feel realistic. Automotive renders are tough because everyone knows what a car should look like, so any small mistake stands out immediately.

This project was a turning point. It forced me to learn real workflow discipline, figuring out which tiny details actually matter to the final image and which ones just burn time for no reason. Looking back, it's the project where everything finally clicked for me, and I still use the lessons I learned here as a benchmark for how I approach my work today.
